Introduction to Electrical Electronics Engineering
Electrical engineering is one of the most important and key jobs in the electricity and telecommunications industry. Energy is one of the most important assets of any country. Among them, electricity is of special importance to the extent that its production and consumption in the production sector is one of the indicators of economic growth.
In our country, different specializations have been defined for electrical engineering, and if the graduates of electrical engineering work in accordance with their specialized orientation, they will surely be more productive. Undergraduate students in electrical engineering study in one of four majors: electronics, power, control, or telecommunications. In electronics, there are sub-trends such as analog design, digital circuits, micro and nanoelectronics. In the field of analog design, the electronics engineer specializes in the design of analog circuits for use in home appliances, communication systems, and mainly commercial projects. The electrical engineer specializes in digital circuits in the design of FPGA boards, the design of control boards using general or special microcontrollers, and works alongside the telecommunications engineer in many telecommunication projects and designs. The field of micro and nanoelectronics is one of the new fields in the country, which aims to conduct research and work in the field of nanotechnology in the electronics sector. The purpose of offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in electronic engineering is to train specialists in these fields so that they can design and implement new electronic systems in theory and practice, and analyze existing electronic systems. . Mastering the theoretical and practical aspects along with having technical knowledge and creativity can offer a bright future for the graduates of this field.
The electronic group of this institute started its activity in 2009 in continuous and discontinuous groups. In 2014, the Department of Electronics, majoring in electronics, was established at the master's level and accepted students.
Currently, the Department of Electronics is engaged in educational and research activities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
