Medical engineering is a new field whose range of skills is expanding day by day. This field has been formed to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Devices designed and manufactured by medical engineers such as PET, EEG, ECG, MRI, CT-Scan have greatly contributed to medical science in the treatment of patients. Also, the alignment of diagnostic devices and medical supplies has been expanded by these engineers to treat patients such as hearing aids, ventilators, dialysis, ultrasound and various applications of lasers.
Undergraduate students in this course are familiar with topics related to computers and software, including the structure of a computer, types of application and system software, databases and software design principles. Familiarity with some programming languages ​​is also one of the topics in this course.
